Springfield Court is a purpose built care home catering for those who are over the age of sixty-five and require general nursing care. We have a small number of beds registered for the care of young physically disabled. The Home is registered for fifty-three permanent places; we also have a dedicated respite facility for those who require a brief period of admission.
The Home offers luxury hotel style accommodation in a tranquil setting.
The individual rooms are presented as:
36 single en-suite rooms
3 double en-suite rooms
10 single rooms with vanity unit
2 double rooms with vanity unit
2 respite rooms with en-suite
There are two bathrooms with hoists, three walk-in shower rooms and eight further toilet facilities interspersed throughout the Home. All individual rooms and communal areas are provided with a nurse call system that is linked to points throughout the Home; this ensures help can be accessed quickly and efficiently.
To cater for individual choice and preference in relation to conversation, TV viewing and listening to the radio, the Home has one main lounge, a large airy conservatory, two dining area’s and a garden room.
All of the above facilities meet the standards for the physical environment as identified in the Care Standard Act.

Springfield Court complies with all Fire Regulations, members of staff are trained in the prevention and detection of fire and we ensure weekly Fire Alarm tests are carried out. A copy of the policy, in the event of a fire is included in the information pack.
We operate a smoke free policy in all communal areas in the Home; however, service users may smoke in their own rooms following a positive outcome risk assessment.
*Hairdressing available in the Home on a weekly basis
*Newspapers are delivered daily
*Outings are arranged on an individual or group basis
*Escorts for Hospital visits can be arranged if family members are not available, (there is a small charge for this service (£10 per hour))
